The Dodge Challenger added up to the list of classic muscle cars that shares some mechanical components from Plymouth Barracuda. This has been the entry car from the Chrysler Company, and the challenger debuted during the 70’s as a hardtop coupe and convertible. The Challenger model of the Chrysler was the performance version with one of several V8’s including the Plymouth’s Barracuda 426-cubic inch Hemi Option – that enables it to put more than 300 horsepower.

The Ford Torino is also classified as one of the most competitive classic muscle cars around with its sporty 4-door structure that has re appeared during 1972 offering the drivers with five different V9 options including the top of the line engine borrowed from the Ford Thunderbird.

The only downside to owning a classic muscle car is that not all classic cars are fitted with built-in air conditioner. If the classic car has it, you can bet your dollar that it’s not operating or cooling the air as it should be anymore.
